Mural!

Right now I'm working on a few images for a children's story about a girl obsessed with doodling in class. It should be pretty interesting since I'm going to digitally paint them (something I haven't done in ages) and I'll post them when they're done!

Still working nice and hard on my mural, but recently finished this book cover project! I'm happy with it, although I'd like to add some sample text soon to get a good idea on what it's meant to look like.

SO MUCH WORK.

So, I've been doing a ton of drawing lately! Fall is my favorite month, so I'm feeling pretty inspired lately. I'm still doing mostly comic stuff, here's a poster I did recently for Maine College of Art:



I've also been trying to brush up on my figure drawing. I figure the better I get with drawing the figure realistically, the better I can totally mess with it and create pretty neat comic characters.




And finally, on top of EVERYTHING ELSE, I am working on a mural on the 3rd floor of MECA's Porteous building. Hopefully it'll be done by the end of the week, so more pictures to come!

I have been a bad blogger!

BOY HOWDY, HAVE A DROPPED THE BALL! Well, after a long sketch filled summer, a 6 week tour doing merch with the nicest pop-punk bands evs, and starting my senior year at MECA, I am busybusybusy! I just finished the first issue of my new comic zine called "popenstance". If anyone wants a copy just e-mail me at cyndipop@gmail.com and I'll send you one for free! I only have about 20 left!



Otherwise, I'm producing a lot of fun stuff, so stay tuned for more stupid drawings and ukulele covers and stuff.

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, it's been a pretty busy summer lately! Currently I'm searching for an internship, working, and getting all my things together for a big move. I'm saving up for a nicey nice scanner so hopefully I'll update with some nice quality images of what I've been working on lately. For now, I made a Myspace music page to show a couple people some songs I've been working on and I think I'm going to keep adding to it so keep an eye out!
